A guy named Grover Jackson owns the Jackson Guitar Brand. Jackson Guitars started with the “Rhoads” V model guitar, originally designed and used by guitarist Randy Rhoads.
Jackson Guitars has become known for its slender and elegant models, these guitars have an aggressive look and they are pretty popular with harder rock and metal music players.
During the Fall of 2002, Fender has purchased Jackson/Charvel, and manufacturing plant was moved to the Fender factory in Corona, CA.
If you are a fan of hard rock or metal music, and trying to decide which electric guitar to pick, I’d recommend buying a used Jackson guitar. I like the sound and quality.
One of my friends has asked my opinion about Cort electric guitars. I have never played a Cort electric guitar, but will stop by one of the local guitar shops and try one out.
Cort electric guitar prices seem pretty reasonable, and there are some good reviews at guitar review sites.

There are many websites that offer free guitar lessons. Most of them are packed with ads, affiliate offers, etc. It’s rare that you find a quality free guitar lessons site.
It’s always great for guitar players to find free guitar lessons of any level online. I hope Gibson takes this section seriously, and keeps adding more tutorials, videos and podcasts to their site.
