Making an Acoustic Guitar Video Series

There are many videos online about guitar making. I have never made a guitar myself, but I was always interested in watching how people make these guitars.

I have found a series of videos at Youtube about Making an Acoustic Guitar. I’m sure you’ll like these videos if you are wondering about guitar making topic.

I think guitar making is the combination of art and engineering. Guitar makers are called Luthiers.

Below are the most comprehensive videos about guitar making I could find online.  Luthier Steve Dickie has recorded the journey of his guitar making, and here are the 29 videos (almost 10 minutes each):

Luthier (Steve Dickie) explains the materials and tools he’ll be using to make this steel string guitar. For the neck, mahogany wood will be used, for the heel part he’ll also use a large block of mahogany and for the body he’s chosen walnut.

  10. great videos buddy didnt watch them all but liked your humour . personally i am allways using n.c laquer for finish more because of the speed so i loved your french polish info never thought you could actually eat it though
